10 things I've learned in the past year.

  1. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder.
  2. "I'm sorry" can only be said so many times before it gets old, redundant, and unbelievable.
  3. My parents are the only people who will be there for me no matter what.
  4. No expectations = no disappointments.
  5. I have more than enough love to give.
  6. Sometimes what you want is right in front of your face.
  7. There will always be a song for how you're feeling.
  8. Take chances. No matter the outcome, nobody can say you didn't try.
  9. "Things do not change. We change." - Henry David Thoreau
  10. Love. Live life. Proceed. Progress.
