I love watching cooking shows.

It's this weird obsession I have. Plus, I have this side dream of refining my palette and becoming a food critic 'cuz I'm always thinking.."Mm, that looks good" "I would definitely try that" "I bet that tastes way better than it looks." In 8th grade, I watched 30 Minute Meals (w/Rachael Ray) literally everyday at 6 and 6:30. I used to love her, until she got all "big and famous" and got her own talk show 'n whatnot. But that's beside the point.

I watch Hell's Kitchen when I can catch it. Chef Ramsey is just so damn mean. It pains me when he yells at people the way he does.

My all-time favorite is Top Chef. I just love the way it's structured - how it's a reality show, but it doesn't focus on the drama; it focuses on what the contestants are there to do. And the judges are cool. And they do an episode where the chefs split into two teams of four and create their own restaurants. It's a great show.

The funny thing is, I don't even like to cook. I mean, I can. And I like to watch people cook. And I like to eat. But I don't like cooking myself.

I hope my future husband will watch them with me and not expect me emulate the goodness the chefs are making.
