The Boondocks.

The season 3 premiere was on tonight and it was about President Obama's election. I just wanted to write that it is a brilliant show.

The superficial part of it is meant for laughs, but if you see the deeper meaning, you find yourself saying "wow, black people really do act that way/say those things/think like that." Of course, not all of them, but a GOOD majority.

Oooh, I just read this blog and he wrote it better than I can, lol.
I don’t know, I thought it was pretty good. It felt short as hell but it did what The Boondocks does magnificently: intelligently give you a view of (Black) America through a comedic lens...The latest episode wasn’t wack, it was actually pretty accurate of how the Black community felt regarding Obama’s presidency. People really DID get mad if you didn’t support him. Rappers really WERE coming out of nowhere cosigning him … c’mon, you honestly think Young Jeezy knows the 3 branches of government?...
Yeah, but I'm off to bed. I don't feel like being up really late tonight.
